EZ Scooter Warranty Repair "10 DOLLAR GAS REBATE"
* PARTS & LABOR WARRANTY: $10 CASH or Gas Card
* PARTS ONLY WARRANTY: $10 off labor
WE PAY YOU vs. DIY FOR FREE
Your product is still under warranty but has stopped working. The manufacturer is willing to send replacement parts; however, you need to install the parts and not get paid for your work.
Fair? Do you feel unsure about doing the repair?
Do not attempt a DIY warranty repair.     These are the risks and consequences:
Voided Warranty: If the manufacturer determines that your DIY repair caused additional problems or worsened the initial issue, they might void the warranty. Some manufacturers void warranties if unauthorized repairs are performed.
Liability: If you perform the repair and someone gets hurt due to your mistake, you might be held liable.
Safety Hazards: Incorrect repairs can lead to safety hazards resulting in accidents or injuries. For example, Lithium ion battery fires, or brake repairs that compromise stopping.
Damage to the Product: Mistakes during repairs can worsen the initial issue or cause new problems. This could result in you paying for the cost of parts or rendering your product unusable.
Lack of Expertise: DIY repairs may lack the expertise of a professional that requires specialized knowledge and the proper tools.
Time and Effort: If you’re inexperienced, DIY repairs can take a lot of time and effort. Why are you working for free to fix something when you paid for a working product?

LAS VEGAS FACTORY AUTHORIZED REPAIRS - WARRANTY & EXTENDED WARRANTY

EZ Scooter Factory Authorized Service Center
"IN or OUT" of Warranty Electric / Battery ride-on repairs are welcome!
Get a FREE $10 GAS CARD with every completed in-warranty labor repair or $10 OFF the labor of every completed in-warranty parts repair.

In warranty, the manufacturer pays us for our labor. Who pays you? In warranty, the manufacturer pays us for the parts or provides them to us. Who pays you? We have the correct tools and experience to assure that the work is done right. How do you know if your DIY work was properly performed? Do you have the correct tools and training?

If the DIY warranty repair results in you injuring yourself, you are responsible for your own medical expenses.

Who is responsible when your inexperience results in damage to your home? Your homeowners’ insurance may not cover the repairs since the damage resulted from you doing unlicensed or improper work

Performing DIY repairs can void the product’s warranty if the manufacturer specifies that repairs must be done by authorized service providers. You would be responsible for any further repairs or needed replacement parts.

A lot of vehicles come with a manufacturer's warranty, which is usually effective from the date of purchase for some period of time afterward, you can check out the list to see if your product may have a manufacturer's warranty.                                List of Manufacturers
Asurion
To get your electric ride-on repaired through Asurion, you start by contacting their customer service to get a estimate and discuss the specifics of your repair.  Once the claim is approved, Asurion will handle the repair or replacement directly.

Please Read: Buyer Beware!

Online selling platforms (eBay, Amazon, Walmart, Alibaba, Target) allow individual companies to sell on their website marketplaces. Items purchased from a reputable platform might be from an independent seller not authorized by the manufacturer to sell their products. If you have purchased an extended warranty along with the unauthorized product, you are in luck. Expect the cost of the product and the warranty to be refunded.

Based on the serial number and/or information you supply, your product might not be authorized to be covered by the Manufacturer Limited Warranty and is not eligible for support.

Unfortunately, products are occasionally sold by dealers or internet sites that are not authorized by the Manufacturer or that were obtained by dealers through unauthorized distribution channels.

Products that are unauthorized are sometimes:
1.       Purchased on a 'gray' market from other countries and illegally sold in the US.
2. Counterfeit products not produced or authorized by the Manufacturer.
3. Products not intended for and/or not authorized for sale in the US.
4. Damaged, defective or previously-owned products (B-stock).
5. Products stolen from authorized dealers or other sources.

In most cases, unauthorized products, or products sold by unauthorized companies, were not purchased through the Manufacturer.

Any products sold by unauthorized dealers are not entitled to Manufacturer warranty coverage.

Unauthorized dealers may deceive consumers by implying the product is covered by the Manufacturer warranty policy.  These practices exist by companies taking advantage of consumers.

Please contact the original seller for the resolution of your warranty claim.

Unless the product was sold through an authorized distribution channel, the Manufacturer may not sell parts for current or future repairs.

Buyer Beware of products not made in the USA or not made for USA companies.

Electric Bicycle Regulations

Regulations can vary by state and locality. Check your local laws to ensure compliance with speed limits and other requirements.

Lighting: Just like cars, e-bikes need to be properly illuminated at night to comply with traffic laws. In the United States, most states require a white front light and a red rear light.

Class 1 - Pedelec (pedal assist): have only pedal assistance up to 20mph.
Pedal assistance
Assisted speed up to 20mph
No assistance without pedaling
The motor must be less than 750W
Mostly have the same rights and access privileges as regular bikes
The minimum age for riding Class 1 ebikes varies by state, but it’s generally around 14 to 16 years old

Class 2 - Throttle on demand: have pedal assistance up to 20mph + throttle assistance up to 20mph.
Throttle assistance can be activated through a trigger, button, or twist-grip
Can be ridden without pedaling
May also have pedal-assistance
Maximum assisted speed is 20mph
The motor must be less than 750 watts
Mostly have the same rights and access privileges as regular bikes
The minimum age for riding Class 2 ebikes varies by state, but it’s generally around 14 to 16 years old

Class 3 - Speed pedelec (speed pedal-assist): have pedal assistance up to 28mph + may or may not have throttle assistance up to 20mph.
Pedal assistance
Max assisted speed is 28mph
Equipped with speedometer
The motor must be less than 750W
Restricted from multi-use paths
Mostly with an age limit. Depending on the state, the rider must be at least 14, 15, or 16.
Optional throttle with 20mph assistance
The minimum age for riding Class 3 ebikes varies by state, but riders are often required to be at least 16 years old.

Class 4 - Mopeds & high-power off-road ebikes: may have a top speed of over 28mph and motor wattage over 750W.
Throttle and/or pedal assistance
Top speed 28mph and over
The motor can be more than 750W
Mostly need registration and licensing
Riders are often required to be at least 16 years old.

Class 4 ebikes, are high powered and are not a street legal electric bike under the U.S. electric bike classification system.
This is due to their top speed being greater than 28 mph, and motor output that is greater than 750W. These e-bikes blur the lines between bicycles and electric mopeds/motorbikes.

Electric Scooter Regulations

Regulations can vary by state and locality. Check your local laws to ensure compliance with speed limits and other requirements.

At the federal level, electric scooters fall under specific legislation restricting their power and speed.
Regulations allow eScooters on roads without bicycle lanes to operate within a 25 mph speed limit. Motors below 750W and a top speed under 20 mph are considered “street legal,” requiring no registration or licensing to ride

The most common minimum age for electric scooter riding nationwide is 16 years old.
States that are known to require a driver's license for electric scooter use include California, Arkansas, Massachusetts, and Missouri.

Electric scooter requirements
States with comprehensive electric scooter laws often specify the limits and specifications required for a vehicle to be considered an electric scooter, along with the equipment necessary to operate safely within the state. Vehicles that fall outside these guidelines may be categorized as mopeds, motor-driven cycles, or even motorcycles; which have different regulations.

The common requirements for electric scooters include:
Wheels: Most states require electric scooters to have 2 wheels, with a maximum of 3. Some states also define the maximum wheel size, typically requiring them to be less than 12 inches in diameter.
Motor wattage: The majority of states require electric scooters to have a motor with a wattage below 1,000 watts.
Weight: Electric scooters should weigh less than 100 lbs to meet most state requirements.
Speed: A maximum speed limit is standard, usually between 15-20 mph.
Brakes: Most states require electric scooters to have a braking system capable of stopping the scooter within 25 feet from a speed of 10 mph.
Audible signal: Electric scooters are often required to have a bell for alerting pedestrians and other road users. Sirens and whistles are generally not allowed.
Lighting: If an electric scooter is to be used for nighttime riding, most states require it to have a front headlight (white light visible from at least 500 feet) and a rear red reflector or light (visible from at least 600 feet).
